Thea Hovind

My name is Thea Hovind and I'm a character designer, vis dev & illustrator based in Norway.

I have always had a deep passion for art, animation & video games. When I was a child I had a unique ability to observe and appreciate the smallest details and beauty in my surroundings and loved to put my experiences, memories, fantasy creatures and visual stories down on paper. Ever since then I have dedicated myself to enhance my art skills and refine my visual identity.

Since 2013 I have gained extensive experience in character design and visual development for game and animation projects both in school and in the industry, as well as doing private client commissions. I have honed my skills in creating unique and interesting characters & concept art where I maintain the ability to adapt to different styles, genres and media, focusing on creativity, efficiency and clear communication.

I have previously worked with companies such as Hyper Games, Rubarb Games, Qvisten Animation, Imagma Animation & VFX and Mountaineer Animation on IP's such as Kaptein Sabeltann, Kutoppen, Albert Åberg & Stratos.
